Basics of Business Websites

Welcome to "Basics of Business Websites". This course is being taught live on 16 Sep 04 at the Los Alamos Small Business Development Center and is being taught by M. Patrick Goda of AskMe Graphics, LLC. The course description follows:

How and why is the web used in effective (and not-so-effective) ways to do business? This class will try to answer that question and help the small business owner better understand their own needs and goals for a website. We will discuss the difference between a web presence and a functional, effective business website that generates revenue. Emphasis will be placed on helping the small business owner determine what it is they are trying to accomplish and how this can be achieved while optimizing budgetary frugality and positive results. At the end of this short course you will be better prepared to address concerns regarding your business website and how to best implement it.
